Gen Y prefers YouTube and Real-World Shopping

A report released by Pangea Media, an industry leader in Youth trend analysis has found that 57 percent of Teens prefer watching videos on YouTube to Cable Television.

Other interesting findings were that only 1 in 20 Teens have any idea about the MicroBlogging site "Twitter" despite sensational Internet traffic praising the "revolutionary" web portal.
Also, that Gen Y's would much rather (85 percent) surf the web than play offline computer games. Primarily because of cost pressures in setting up outside video game consoles on top of their already existing Internet and Computer costs.
More than 90 percent of respondents said they would rather shop at a "Real" store than hit up the now infamous eBay. And over half were more inclined to want to own their own mobile phone than their own car.
